Developer

Hi! I'm a developer currently studying software engineering at Concordia University in Montreal. I am passionate about solving problems and enhancing experiences through crafting beautiful software. Previously I skied competitively, representing Canada at the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.

Selected Work

Rekord

Currently being used by Canadian National Ski team Athletes Rekord is an online training diary created to increase communication and collaboration between coaches and athletes. By combining a minimalistic calendar design with powerful workout planning and analysis tools Rekord provides unique training log experience with some friendly social features to motivate your daily workouts.

Memfloss

Memfloss is a spaced repetition system that I created to help memorize words. I wrote the application to help myself learn French. When adding a word, memfloss creates a card which is added to the review pile. Each time the card is studied a review date is assigned based on the difficulty of recall. Each deck can have its own pronunciation for many different languages.

Author

Author is a CMS designed to create a simple unobtrusive blogging platform. The idea was to create a beautiful writing experience where the editor would showcase the published view (WYSIWYG). The tool palette appears when needed and header photos can be easily resized to match the style of the post. I used author as my personal blogging platform through the last couple years of my ski career.

Other interests

When I'm not hard at work on exciting programing projects you can find me enjoying skiing, running, climbing or windsurfing in or around the beautiful Montreal region. I also co-founded les Fondeurs de Montréal with a friend, skiing weekly on the Mont Royal to earn an après-ski beer at Siboire microbrasserie.
